Welcome to the Churchill Falls web site. Founded in 1986 and comprised of 166 homes, we are conveniently located in Northeast Cobb County only 1.5 miles from the corner of Sandy Plains and Shallowford Roads, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, recreation and more. Located within the Cobb County School District, we are proud to be in the attendance zones of Lassiter High, Simpson Middle and Rocky Mount Elementary schools. Additionally, Churchill Falls is only nine miles from downtown Roswell, eight miles from Marietta Square and a mere six miles from downtown Woodstock and Town Center Mall. With downtown Atlanta only 20 miles away, our prime Northeast Cobb location is an ideal place to live, work and play!

Board Update

President - We are in search of a new Board President. This person should be organized, able to attend a monthly one hour meeting, wants to see our neighborhood be a great place to live, and wants to have fun! If you would like to volunteer please plan to attend the September 8^th General Meeting. Please contact Kelly Marshall if you have any questions.

Social Committee - We are in search of someone who would like to help plan the neighborhood social events. This person should be very out going with a “can do” attitude, has a great imagination and who likes to have lots of fun! If you would like to volunteer please plan to attend the September 8^th General Meeting.

Parking

Please ensure you are not parking your vehicle on the street that either creates or is in a blind spot.

The hills and curves create several blind spots in Churchill Falls and the residents have noted several instances of vehicles parked in potentially dangerous locations.

Residents are encouraged to bring these situations to the board's attention and notify the police as well for high risk cases.

Should someone notify you either in person or by leaving a note on your vehicle, please receive this information in the spirit that was intended, which is to ensure safety for everyone.

Upcoming Social Events

Men’s Night Out - Okay men, it is time for someone to step up and work on the social committee! We need some man-type activities to participate in. While I like to read, I don’t want to discuss the books while having a group hug. We need activities that we can be proud of. How about a poker night? Maybe we can sponsor some activities during football season, like a Fantasy League, Beat the Experts, or Last Man (or Woman) Standing. Every once and a while we can show the wives we appreciate them with a Mom’s night out. If you are interested, contact Patty Treat at ttreat1@comcast.net.

Movie Under the Stars – Are you interested???

Is this something that you would like to see in our neighborhood, if so let us know! The Board would set up a large screen and show a family movie. Popcorn and drinks will be served. Currently we do not have the funds to do such an event so if you’d like to see this please pay your dues and let us know.

Other Neighborhood Events –

Please recommend events that you would like to see in the neighborhood, maybe ideas such as a book club, ladies movie night out with desert afterwards, anything, you name it and we’ll try to make it happen…but of course, we need everyone to pay their dues!
